Cordyline Australis


This Ornamental Evergreen Palm is a Monocot tree endemic to New Zealand, it can grow to an impressive height of up to 20 meters tall.

Named tī kōuka by the Mouri, this palm is widely used as a source of food, fiber for textiles, footwear and many other uses. Not only is this plant widely used by the mouri, it has also been used in island restoration projects such as for theTiritiri Matangi Island, it is a very suitable addition to any garden in need of a tall point of focus, with its wide foliage this plant provides the perfect tropical impression to any outdoor or indoor space.
