Jays are the most colourful birds in the Crow Family, they enjoy a diet of Nuts, Seeds, insects and have also been known to eat nestlings of other birds and small rodents to sustain themselves.
These beautiful birds are rarely seen, very shy woodland creatures and are usualy only spotted when they are on the search for acorns or other foods but will still remain distant & well hidden.
